Morton’s Neuroma

Morton’s neuroma is a condition characterized by the thickening of the digital nerves that go to the toes, often occurring due to the use of tight shoes that taper towards the front. It is commonly seen between the third and fourth toes. When diagnosed in the early stages, treatment can involve corticosteroid injections and endoscopic release. In cases with delayed diagnosis, the treatment may require the removal of the nerve mass. After treatment, there is typically no need for physiotherapy. Patients can usually return to their daily activities within about 2 weeks after the wound has healed.
